Loyal council seeks engineering estimates for new industrial park
Shown above is the proposed street in Loyal’s new industrial park. The yellow line shows the existing walking trail, which starts at the corner of Main Street/County Highway K and Chickadee Road (bottom right in photo). The street would start at the same point and either follow the green path or blue path until it hooked up with the orange path. The street would go until the wetland area, marked with a green star on the map, where there would be some sort of turnaround for trucks. There would be the possibility to extend the street north to State Highway 98 (the rest of the orange path) if the city ever got the proper easement. The Loyal Common Council is contemplating the next steps for a proposed industrial park in the city’s southwest corner, but wants cost estimates for engineering before moving forward.
