Bring out that classic car and be sure to dunk a cop

Roll off the dust cover, police up the chrome and come out for the Lake Holcombe Lions Classic Car Show, Sunday, Sept. 7, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Staudacher Field. Registration begins at 8 a.m., for the car show, while there’s also a swap meet and charcoal chicken dinner available for purchase.

Awards and raffle drawings begin at 2 p.m., with all makes and models of cars, trucks and motorcycles welcome. The awards handed out include Lions Choice, People’s Choice and Kids Choice.

New this year, is a dunk tank, set up with proceeds to benefit the Chippewa County K-9 project fund.

“Come and dunk our sheriff,” said Olichwier.
