Mary L. Scharenbrock, 57, Glen Flora, and Joseph L. Hana, 56, Medford, were involved in an accident on July 22 at 9:50 a.m. on Hwy 73 in the town of Taft. According to the accident report, the Scharenbrock vehicle was southbound and the Hana vehicle was northbound on Hwy 73. As the two vehicles approached each other, a wheel came off the Hana vehicle and struck the left rear side of the Scharenbrock vehicle. The driver lost control and the Scharenbrock vehicle entered the west ditch. The Scharenbrock vehicle sustained disabling damage to the left side rear, left rear corner and rear. There was no damage to the Hana vehicle.

Logan G. Roder, 33, Medford, and Joann K. Cypher, 63, Medford, were involved in an accident on July 26 at 10:15 a.m. on CTH M in the town of Medford. According to the accident report, the Roder vehicle was eastbound on CTH M. The Cypher vehicle was westbound on CTH M and the driver turned in front of the Roder vehicle while attempting to enter a driveway at W5571 CTH M. The driver of the Roder vehicle swerved to the left, but was unsuccessful in avoiding the accident. The Roder vehicle sustained damage to the right side front and right front corner. The Cypher vehicle sustained disabling damage to the right side rear, right rear corner, rear and left rear corner. Failure to yield the right-ofway and looked but did not see by Cypher were listed in the report as factors in the accident. She was issued a citation for failure to yield while making a left turn.

Madisyn E. Pilgrim, 16, Medford, was involved in an accident on July 27 at 1:05 p.m. on Crane Drive in the town of Medford. According to the accident report, the Pilgrim vehicle was northbound on Crane Drive when it left the roadway and entered the east ditch. The vehicle rolled and came to a stop on its side. The driver and three passengers were trapped in the vehicle and had to be extricated. Pilgrim sustained possible injuries, but was not transported for medical treatment. There were no injuries to the passengers. The vehicle sustained disabling damage to the right side front, right side middle, right side rear, rear, left side rear, left side middle, left side front and top. Failure to control, driver distracted by passengers and looking away from the task by Pilgrim were listed in the report as factors in the accident.

Elizabeth R. Weber, 16, Merrill, was involved in an accident on July 22 at 11:31 a.m. on Sawyer Avenue in the town of Hammel. According to the accident report, the Weber vehicle was westbound on Sawyer Avenue when the driver swerved to avoid a deer in the roadway and the vehicle entered the north ditch. The vehicle sustained damage to the right side middle, right side front, right front corner, front, left front corner, left side front, left side middle and top.

Hunter C. Johnson, 18, Medford, was involved in an accident on July 23 at 7:30 p.m. on Grahl Drive in the town of Browning. According to the accident report, the vehicle was northbound on Grahl Drive when the driver stated he did a burnout and lost control of the vehicle, which entered the west ditch. The vehicle was pulled from the ditch by another vehicle and was driven from the scene by the driver. The vehicle sustained damage to the left front corner, front and undercarriage. Failure to control, running off the roadway and other contributing actions by Johnson were listed in the report as factors in the accident. He was issued a citation for failure to keep vehicle under control.

Carmen Garrett, 65, Houston, Texas, and an unknown vehicle were involved in a hit-and-run accident on July 29 at 7 a.m. in a parking lot at 435 S. Eighth St. in the city of Medford. According to the accident report, the Garrett vehicle sustained damage to the bottom of the rear bumper on the driverā€™s side which was consistent with a vehicle attempting to leave/enter the parking space next to the Garrett vehicle.

The following deer-related accidents were reported: Yvonne F. Brunner, 72, Medford, on July 26 at 9:15 p.m. on CTH Q in the town of Medford.

Shianne A. Reidt, 26, Westboro, on July 27 at 7:02 p.m. on CTH M in the town of Chelsea.

Koob Vaj, 30, Wausau, on July 29 at 8:50 p.m. on CTH

Nicholas J. Willms, 24, Medford, was involved in an accident on July 17 at 5:25 a.m. on CTH M in the town of Greenwood. According to the accident report, the Willms vehicle was eastbound on CTH M when the vehicle entered the south ditch. The vehicle continued driving in the ditch where it struck a driveway at W4359 CTH M and became airborne. The vehicle landed in the yard on the other side of driveway and overturned, causing damage to the yard before coming to a stop in the upright position. Willms sustained possible injuries and was transported to Aspirus Medford Hospital for medical treatment. There was damage to the entire vehicle. Driver condition was listed in the report as a factor in the accident. Willms was issued citations for failure to transfer vehicle title, non-registration of vehicle and operating a motor vehicle without insurance.
