Thums, 56, of Medford, was traveling southbound on CTH E south of Park Road at 2:50 p.m. on December 29, in the town of Westboro. A vehicle owned by Cody Vonderheid, of Merrill, was legally parked along CTH E on the west shoulder. Thums told Deputy Brett Paul he was looking in his rear side view mirror at a deer that crossed the road when he collided with the Vonderheid vehicle. The Vonderhied vehicle had extensive damage and was towed from the crash scene and the Thums vehicle had functional damage, but was able to leave the scene.

A vehicle driven by Gordon Jensen, 18, of Medford, was southbound on Shattuck Street in the city of Medford at 7:52 a.m. on January 10. A vehicle driven by Dayne Jacobson, 16, of Medford, was westbound. Road conditions were icy. According to the crash report, Jensen tried to slow down for a stop sign but was unable to and slid into the intersection of Allman St. and Shattuck St. Jacobsen was unable to stop before driving into the intersection. The front end of the Jensen vehicle made contact with the passenger door of the Jacobsen vehicle causing disabling damage to the vehicle and it was towed from the scene. There was functional damage to the Jensen vehicle.

A vehicle driven by Katie Jentzsch, 28, of Medford, was attempting a parking maneuver in the parking lot at 1000 Progressive Ave. in Medford at 1:53 p.m. on January 5. The Jentzsch vehicle struck a legally parked vehicle owned by Edwin Ochoa of Abbotsford. Both units sustained minor damage and the drivers exchanged information.

A truck driven by David Peters, 67, of Chetek, was traveling westbound on Hwy 64 in the town of Aurora on December 16 at 5:45 p.m. when it swerved to miss an Amish Wagon pulled by a horse operated by Joseph Yoder 23, of Gilman. The left rear of the truck struck the right rear of the wagon. The Peters truck then entered the north ditch of Hwy 64 and came to rest on its wheels facing west.
