Jett L. Hone, 20, Winfield, Ill., and Heather L. Flanery, 37, Wausau, were involved in an accident on May 31 at 2:25 p.m. at the intersection of Hwy 64 and 97 in the town of Goodrich. According to the accident report, the Hone vehicle was northbound on Hwy 97 and stopped for the stop sign at the intersection with Hwy 64. The driver of the Hone vehicle proceeded to make a left turn onto Hwy 64 and the vehicle was struck by the Flanery vehicle, which was eastbound on Hwy 64. Hone sustained suspected minor injuries and was transported to Aspirus Medford Hospital for medical treatment. The Hone vehicle sustained damage to the front and entire left side. The Flanery vehicle sustained damage to the front, left front corner, right front corner, right side front and right side rear. Both vehicles were towed from the scene. Hone was issued a citation for failure to yield the right-of-way.

Sierra N. Combs, 18, Medford, and a Medford Police Department vehicle were involved in an accident on June 3 at 12:20 p.m. on East Perkins Street in the city of

Caleb M. Hintz, 17, Medford, and Kevin M. Krultz, 37, Medford, were involved in an accident on June 7 at 10:05 p.m. at the intersection of CTH Q and West Broadway Avenue in the city of Medford. According to the accident report, the Hintz vehicle was northbound on CTH Q when the driver failed to stop for the stop sign at the intersection with West Broadway Avenue. The vehicle entered the intersection and was struck by the westbound Krultz vehicle. Hintz stated his foot slipped off the brake pedal as he was trying to stop. The Hintz vehicle sustained damage to the right front corner, right side front and right side middle. The Krultz vehicle sustained damage to the front, right front corner, right side front, left front corner and left side front. Both vehicles were towed from the scene. Failure to control, operating a motor vehicle in an inattentive, careless or erratic manner, and physical impairment of Hintz were listed in the report as factors in the accident. He was issued a citation for failure to yield the right-of-way from a stop sign.

Medford. According to the accident report, the Combs vehicle was backing out of a parking lot onto East Perkins Street when it struck the legally-parked and unoccupied police vehicle, causing damage to the left side middle and left side rear. The Combs vehicle sustained minor damage to the right rear corner. Combs was issued a citation for unsafe backing of a vehicle.

Miranda A. Weiler, 28, Tomahawk, was involved in an accident on May 31 at 1:36 a.m. on Centennial Parkway in the city of Medford. According to the accident report, the Weiler vehicle was northbound on Centennial Parkway when the driver failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway. The vehicle left the roadway and struck a large boulder and a small tree before coming to a stop in an unoccupied campsite in the city park campground. The vehicle sustained damage to the front, left front corner, right front corner and undercarriage. It was towed from the scene. Running off the roadway, operating a motor vehicle in an inattentive, careless or erratic manner, and the driverā€™s condition were listed in the report as factors in the accident. Weiler was issued a citation for operating while under the influence.

Hezekiah J. Bant, 18, Prentice, was involved in an accident on June 3 at 5 p.m. on Hwy 13 in the town of Westboro. According to the accident report, the Bant vehicle was southbound on Hwy 13 when the driver attempted to pass what he thought was a single vehicle. Bant stated as he started to pass, he realized there were two vehicles in front of him and there was oncoming traffic. Bant stated he accelerated to try and complete the pass and the vehicle drifted onto the east shoulder where he lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle slid across the roadway into the west ditch, causing minor damage to the front, left front corner and undercarriage. Exceeding the speed limit; speeding too fast for conditions; improper overtaking/passing on left; over correction/ over-steering; and looked but did not see by Bant were listed in the report as factors in the accident. He was issued a citation for unsafe lane deviation.

Kristi L. Strama, 46, Medford, was involved in an accident on June 5 at 3:10 p.m. in a parking lot at 1010 N. Hwy 13 in the city of Medford. According to the accident report, the Strama vehicle was backing out of a lane in the parking lot and struck the concrete base of a stop sign, damaging the left rear corner of the vehicle. Strama stated she did not see the sign.

Haley A. Hidalgo, 23, Medford, was involved in an accident on June 5 at 8:23 p.m. on CTH O in the town of Medford. According to the accident report, the Hidalgo vehicle was westbound on CTHO when it struck a guardrail on the south side of the roadway and came to a stop in the westbound lane of traffic. The vehicle sustained damage to the front, right front corner, right side front, left front corner and left side front.

Cole J. Mann, 21, Medford, and Barry J. Orheim, 69, Medford, were involved in an accident on May 28 at 10:46 p.m. at the intersection of CTH E and Perkinstown Avenue in the town of Hammel. According to the accident report, the Mann vehicle was southbound on CTH E when it collided with the Orheim vehicle, which was eastbound on Perkinstown Avenue and failed to yield the right-of-way from the stop sign at the intersection with CTH E. The Mann vehicle came to a stop in the ditch at the southeast corner of the intersection. The Orheim vehicle rolled onto its driver side and came to a stop in the northbound lane of traffic. Mann sustained no apparent injuries, but was transported to Aspirus Medford Hospital. A passenger in the Mann vehicle, Sydney D. Handt, 21, Medford, sustained suspected serious injuries and was transported to Aspirus Medford Hospital for medical treatment. Orheim and a passenger in the vehicle, Barbara J. Orheim, 65, Medford, sustained suspected minor injuries and were transported to Aspirus Medford Hospital for medical treatment. There was damage to the front, left front corner, left side front and entire right side of the Mann vehicle. It was towed from the scene. There was damage to the entire Orheim vehicle and it was also towed from the scene. Failure to yield the right-of-way and looked but did not see by Orheim were listed in the report as factors in the accident. He was issued a citation for failure to yield the right-of-way from a stop sign, resulting in bodily harm.

The following deer-related accidents were reported: Benjamin S. Roberts, 24, Wausau, on June 2 at noon on CTH DD in the town of Maplehurst.

Pamela K. Kennedy, 61, Medford, on June 5 at 11 a.m. on Hwy 13 in the city of Medford.

Joseph J. Olson, 39, Chetek, on June 5 at 9:23 p.m. on Hwy 64 in the town of Browning.
