Joan M. Brayton, 71, Medford, and Stacy L. Doriot, 45, Medford, were involved in an accident on February 3 at 2:11 p.m. in the parking lot at AbbyBank, 215 S. Eighth St. in the city of Medford, According to the accident report, the Brayton vehicle was backing up when it struck the front of the legally-parked Doriot vehicle. Brayton stated she did not see the Doriot vehicle. Both vehicles sustained minor damage to their respective bumpers.

Nicholas P. Draszkiewicz, 24, Medford, was involved in an accident on February 2 at midnight on Ruby Drive in the town of Deer Creek. According to the accident report, the Draszkiewicz vehicle was northbound on Ruby Drive when the driver lost control on the snow-covered roadway. The vehicle began to slide sideways and entered the east ditch sideways. The driver then drove several yards forward before the vehicle came to a stop. The report stated the driver left the scene and was later found to be operating a stolen vehicle. The vehicle sustained disabling damage to the front, right front corner, right side front, left front corner and left side front. Failure to control by Draszkiewicz was listed in the report as a factor in the accident. He was issued citations for operating without a valid license-second offense within three years, failure to keep vehicle under control and failure of operator to notify police of an accident.

Matthew J. Rietmann, 22, Menomonie, was involved in an accident on February 4 at 9 a.m. on CTH D in the town of McKinley. According to the accident report, the Rietmann vehicle was eastbound on CTH D approaching a curve in the roadway. The vehicle began to fishtail on the icy and snow-covered roadway. The driver tried to correct and the vehicle slid into the ditch and overturned onto its side. There was disabling damage to the entire left side of the vehicle and it was towed from the scene. Weather and road surface conditions, and speeding too fast for conditions by Rietmann were listed in the report as factors in the accident.

Alyssa R. Busse, 28, Rib Lake, was involved in an accident on February 6 at 6:50 a.m. on Brehm Avenue in the town of Greenwood. According to the accident report, the Busse vehicle was westbound on Brehm Av-

Kurt R. Scheithauer, 34, Medford, was involved in an accident on February 6 at 9:10 a.m. on Hwy 13 in the town of Little Black. According to the accident report, the Scheithauer vehicle was southbound on Hwy 13 towing a trailer with a tractor loaded on it.The strap securing the tractor on the trailer broke and the tractor shifted, causing the Scheithauer vehicle to slide sideways before coming to a stop with the trailer in the ditch. The tractor rolled off the trailer and was damaged in the accident. The driver was able to drive the vehicle and trailer out of the ditch. There was no damage to the vehicle or trailer. The tractor had to be towed from the ditch.
