Ila K. Saidla, 25, Ogema, and Christopher R. Kreklau, 37, Medford, were involved in an accident on November 5 at 4:07 p.m. on Stetson Avenue in the town of Deer Creek. According to the accident report, a tractor operated by Kreklau was towing a manure spreader eastbound on Stetson Avenue and causing dust due to the dry roadway surface. The Saidla vehicle was also eastbound on Stetson Avenue and traveling too fast for conditions. The Saidla vehicle struck the back of the manure spreader due to the driver’s vision being impaired by the dust. Saidla and a passenger in the vehicle, Alan M. Whetstone, 46, Stetsonville, sustained possible injuries and were transported to Aspirus Medford Hospital for medical treatment. The Saidla vehicle sustained disabling damage to the front, right front corner, left front corner and left side front. It was towed from the scene. There was minor damage to the manure spreader. Speeding too fast for conditions and following too close by Saidla were listed in the report as factors in the accident. She was issued a citation for driving too fast for conditions.
Kadia L. Gehrke, 16, Medford, was involved in an accident on November 6 at 2:42 p.m. on North Seventh Street in the city of Medford. According to the accident report, the Gehrke vehicle was southbound on North Seventh Street. Gehrke was sending a text message on her phone when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a fire hydrant, tearing the hydrant out of the ground. The impact caused disabling damage to the vehicle and the airbags to deploy. The vehicle continued up onto the sidewalk and then back onto the roadway before coming to a stop. There was damage to the front, right front corner, right side front and undercarriage of the vehicle. Failure to control; running off the roadway; operating a motor vehicle in an inattentive, careless or erratic manner; and manually operating a hand-held device by Gehrke were listed in the report as factors in the accident. She was issued a citation for texting while driving.
Tanner J. Cliver, 18, Stetsonville was involved in an accident on November 6 at 4:14 p.m. on Centennial Parkway in the city of Medford. according to the accident report, the Cliver vehicle was southbound on Centennial Parkway when the accelerator pedal stuck, causing the vehicle to fishtail and strike the curb along the side of the street. The vehicle tipped onto its side and then back onto its wheels. Cliver sustained possible injuries, but was not transported for medical treatment. Speeding too fast for conditions by Cliver was listed in the report as a factor in the accident. He was issued a citation for failure to keep vehicle under control.
Mikyle J. Lukes, 25, Lublin, was involved in an accident on November 6 at 11:30 p.m. on CTH G in the town of Cleveland. According to the accident report, the Lukes vehicle was southbound on CTH G when the driver failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway. The vehicle went off the curve and became airborne, striking several trees. A tree broke off and fell on top of the vehicle. Lukes did not report the accident. The property owner located the vehicle in the morning and contacted law enforcement. Lukes contacted law enforcement after it had been contacted by the property owner. Lukes sustained suspected minor injuries and received medical treatment at Aspirus Medford Hospital. There was disabling damage to the entire vehicle. Exceeding the speed limit and failure to control by Lukes were listed in the report as factors in the accident. He was issued citations for failure of operator to notify police of an accident and failure to keep vehicle under control.

Kenneth A. Truman Jr., 47, Owen, on November 2 at 11:10 p.m. on Hwy 64 in the town of Hammel.
Morgan J. Warren, 26, Medford, on November 3 at 3:10 a.m. on Hwy 13 in the town of Chelsea.
Brock D. Hartmann, 21, Athens, and Wesly R. Singleton, 68,Medford, were involved in an accident on November 3 at 4:10 p.m. at the intersection of Hwy 13 and Ann’s Way in the city of Medford. According to the accident report, the Singleton vehicle was northbound on Hwy 13 and negotiating the roundabout at the intersection with Ann’s Way. The Hartmann vehicle was westbound on Ann’s Way and failed to yield to the Singleton vehicle before entering the roundabout. Hartmann said he did not see the Singleton vehicle due to glare of the sun. The Hartmann vehicle sustained damage to the front, left front corner and left side front. The Singleton vehicle sustained damage to the right side front and right side middle. Failure to yield the right-of-way and looked but did not see by Hartmann were listed in the report as factors in the accident, He was issued a citation for failure to yield for a yield sign.
