Cases dismissed

Court proceedings

The following cases were dismissed on prosecutor’s motions: Cole D. Noeldner, 38, Medford, contact after domestic abuse arrest and felony bail jumping; Samuel M. Larson, 19, Holcombe, disorderly conduct.

The following appeared in court and entered pleas of not guilty: Melissa S. Witek, 35, Stetsonville, neglecting a child (specified harm did not occur), possession of methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance, possession of amphetamine/LSD/psilocin, resisting or obstructing an officer, maintaining a drug trafficking place and possession of drug paraphernalia; Matthew W. Mahoney, 24, Medford, disorderly conductdomestic abuse; Makayla E. Hester, 20, Medford, resisting or obstructing an officer; Lawrence J. Sowatzke IV, 17, Medford, two counts of disorderly conduct;

Jacob A. Deragon, 37, Ashland, pled no contest to theft and forfeited $648.50 in fines and restitution.

Anthony R. Doucette, 19, Medford, pled no contest to a reduced charge of speeding 16-19 mph over the limit and forfeited $200.50.

Jason R. Kohn, 38, Stetsonville, pled no contest to possession of drug paraphernalia and forfeited $263.50.

Kohn also pled no contest to failure to drain water from boat, trailer or equipment before transporting it away from water (as a party to a crime) and forfeited $243.

Taylor County Circuit Court

A charge of possession of marijuana against Kohn was dismissed on a prosecutor’s motion.

Norberto A. Nevarez, 54, Withee, pled no contest to non-registration of vehicle and forfeited $114.50.

Adam T. Thums, 32, Ridgeland, pled no contest to possession of an illegal size fish (as a party to a crime) and forfeited $354.15.

Thums pled no contest to unlawful spearing of a game fish and forfeited $423.90.

Thums pled no contest to an illegal loaded firearm (not handgun) in a motorized vehicle and forfeited $258.10.

Thums also pled no contest to possession of any fish in excess of total daily bag limit (as a party to a crime). He forfeited $343.50 and his DNR privileges were revoked/ suspended for one year.

Hunter M. Ustianowski, 20, Lublin, pled no contest to an amended charge of disorderly conduct and forfeited $263.50. The original charge had been resisting/ obstructing an officer.

The following were granted divorce decrees: Kevin A. Keiser, 41, Rib Lake, and Kristina L. Keiser, 40, Rib Lake; Michael J. Tomandl, 38, Rib Lake, and Michelle D. Tomandl, 36, Rib lake; Joshua A. Vanderleest, 42, Lublin, and Brenda L. Vanderleest, 47, Medford; Don J. Leonard, 48, Medford, and Lisa J. Kerstan Leonard, 49, Chesapeake, Va.; Derrick J. Romig, 34, Gilman, and Dawn J. Romig, 41, Gilman.
