On June 27 at 7:45 p.m., a vehicle operated by Rocky Knight, 60, of Wisconsin Rapids, was traveling eastbound on CTH D in the town of Rib Lake. The vehicle operated by Knight entered the south ditch of CTH D and continued eastbound through the ditch before ramping off a driveway and becoming airborne. The vehicle continued eastbound before striking a tree, causing disabling damage to the vehicle. Knight sustained a suspected serious injury. Blood tests were taken from Knight to determine if he was under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. The results from the test were pending as of the report. TAYLOR COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

KARA Children’s Choir of Suwon, South Korea to perform in Medford Feb. 5
SUBMITTED On February 5, KARA youth choir will visit Medford to perform a concert, They will be joined by the Medford High School Concert Choir and Momentum, the Medford Show Choir and Show Band. Entry is free and the entire community is invited to come on out and enjoy it. KARA choir is from a suburb of Seoul, South Korea. They will be on a week-long tour of the Midwest where they will be performing concerts in Port Washington, Medford, and the Chicago area. The choir is made up of children from second to eleventh grade. The Medford concert is on Feb. 5 at 7 p.m. at Medford Area Senior High School.
