Writer discusses congressional spending, party priorities, Gaza situation

Dear editor, On April 20, Congressman Michael Johnson, a Republican, along with many Democrats, spent $94 billion of taxpayers’ money to ensure chaos in Ukraine, Taiwan and Israel.

This is not only the empowering of the blood-sucking military and its arrogant spending, but it is also a definition and lust for killing.

America has become infatuated with its ability to kill and destroy.

The Democratic Party’s main mantra is abortion, pretty much anytime for any reason, and yes, the Republican Party is right on their doorstep – same situation regarding the homosexual, transgender movement.

What is becoming increasingly interesting is the position of today’s Christian and those called evangelical Christians, and now with the tragic situation in Gaza, some people are calling themselves “Christian Zionist.” That term is as contradictory as you can get! Some Christian Zionists have gone so far as to call for Gaza to be nuked?!

Meanwhile as Republicans and Democrats alike are making sure abortions are available to all Americans in all states, and at the same time bombing Gaza into obliteration, the BRICS nations are setting up a money system which is going to put the dollar in a “has been” situation. Maybe Washington thinks like the questionably named Christian Zionists; they believe they are going to be “raptured.”

Three virtues that both the former president and the current president could use more of are statesmanship, diplomacy and humility.
