APL to put on Easter-themed event

Abbotsford Public Library is gearing up for an egg-citing event, the Abby Library Bunny Mart, a fun-filled program set to run from Monday, March 18 to Saturday, March 30, excluding the bustling hours of the Abbotsford Lion’s Egg Hunt scheduled for Saturday, March 31 from 9:45 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the library/ city hall building.
Designed to spark joy and foster literacy in our community, the Abby Library Bunny Mart invites children ages one through 12 to embark on an egg-hunting extravaganza right within the cozy confines of the library. The event is tailored to children who prefer a quieter environment and may not enjoy large crowds.
Here’s how the Bunny Mart works: during regular library hours, children can explore designated areas within the library to hunt for a set number of colorful eggs. But these aren’t your ordinary Easter eggs – each one is filled with Bunny Money, a special currency that grants access to the library’s Bunny Market. The Bunny Market offers a delightful array of treats and treasures. With books, candy and toys, there’s something for every bunny to enjoy.
Participation in the Abby Library Bunny Mart is free. However, the library requests that families take advantage of their visit by checking out a book or two from the library collection. For those who haven’t yet obtained a library card, there isn’t a better time to join our community of readers and learners.
Don’t miss out on this egg-ceptional adventure at the Abbotsford Public Library.
