C alendar COLBY LIONS CLUB BINGO

The Colby Lions Club will host bingo at the Colby Lions Shelter starting at 6:30 on Tuesday, March 12. Doors open at 5:45 p.m. Hot turkey sandwiches, homemade pizza, pretzels and pretzel dogs will be served. March bingo is sponsored by Smith Brothers Meats.

ABBOTSFORD LIONS MEETING

The Abbotsford Lions meet every third Monday of the month at 6:30 p.m. at the Abbotsford City Hall.

ABBOTSFORD EASER EGG HUNT

The Abbotsford Lions will be hosting an Easter Egg hunt on Saturday, March 30 at the Abbotsford City Hall. Children ages 1-10 are invited to participate. Registration will be held from 9:45-10:45 a.m. with the hunt beginning at 11 a.m.

STRONG BODIES

Classes are forming for the Strong Bodies programs in Loyal held from 9:30-10:30 a.m. on Mondays and Thursdays. These will take place at the Loyal Library, 214 N Main Street with instructor Teresa Hall.

Strong Bodies is an evidence-based, progressive strength-training program held throughout the United States. To register, please contact the UW-Extension office at 715-743-5121.

ABBOTSFORD HOPE CENTER

The Hope Center in Abbotsford is offering free English lessons on Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 6 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. and on Thursdays at 5:30 p.m. - 6:45 p.m. There are also free Spanish lessons on Thursdays from 4 p.m. - 5 p.m. To participate in the classes, students must register at www.hopecenter.space.

To join via Zoom during class, text 715316-4466. The Hope Center is also hosting a worship service at 10 a.m. on Sundays.

APL MOVIE NIGHT

Join the Abbotsford Public Library for a family movie! Snacks, pillows and blankets from home are welcome. The movie “Migration” will be shown at the library Friday, March 8th at 6:30 p.m. Advanced registration is requested. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult who stays for the movie. Doors open at 6:15 p.m. and lock at 6:45 p.m.

HCE IFORMATIONAL MEETING

Join Home and Community Education (HCE) for an informational meeting about Clark County’s Aging and Disability Resource Center with director Lynne Mc-Donald. McDonald will give a presentation to learn about resources the ADRC has to offer all residents who qualify for these services. Everyone is welcome. The event is being held Tuesday, March 12 from 1-2 p.m. at the Loyal City Hall.
