Garnet

CLARK COUNTY HUMANE SOCIETY ‘PET OF THE WEEK’
Meet Garnet, the CCHS Pet of the Week! Garnet is a 3-month old Heeler mix (also called Australian Cattle Dog). He is a handsome guy with a short-haired tri-color coat of brown, black and white with lots of speckles. Garnet came to CCHS with his sister and five brothers from a farm where they had too many puppies. Garnet and his siblings spent the first two months of their lives hiding behind hay bales, so they were pretty shy when they came to the Shelter. But given time and lots of love, they have adjusted and blossomed into sweet, happy puppies. It will be important to continue their socialization so that they grow into well-adjusted adults. They just need a chance to share all the love in their hearts! If you’d like to give Garnet (of any of his siblings) a happy new life, please apply to adopt today! You can submit your adoption application for Garnet on our website: www.cchs-petshelter.org/applying-to-adopt. We have lots of wonderful pets available for adoption now, so please check them all out and then stop in to visit!
February is the best time to “Adopt Your Purrfect Love”! We are very excited that adoption fees for cats and kittens have been sponsored by a very generous Shelter supporter for the entire month of February! That means you can take home an awesome kitty or two for $0! Standard adoption policies and procedures will still apply. You can see our available cats and kittens on our website: www. cchs-petshelter.org/available-cats. Take home your purrfect love today!
