Job Opportunity Executive Director Taylor County Housing Authority Taylor County Housing Authority administers multiple grant programs providing low income households with loans for home rehab, down payment assistance, foreclosure prevention and rental assistance. This position is complex and expectations include consistent demonstration of client confidentiality, working independently as this is a one person office, meeting deadlines, multi-tasking, attention to detail and working with the public. Understanding, implementing and adhering to grant rules and requirements is essential. Payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank reconciliation, grant applications, correspondence and other duties as needed. Applicant should be proficient in Windows Excel, Word, Outlook and Access. A bachelor’s degree is preferred. Will consider other equivalent combination of experience and training. The Medford Area Fire Commission gathered on Wednesday, August 27 at the Medford Fire Hall to approve the 2026 budget. The budget will see an increase in equalized value from 2024 to 2025 for each town and the City of Medford as a part of the membership. Membership has increased from $145,100 in 2025 to $148,100 in 2026, and the truck replacement fund has increased from $90,000 to $100,000. Total payments for the city and towns contributing to both funds will increase for the town of Browning from $19,293.32 to $20,860.18, the town of Chelsea from $17,926.02 to $21,135.79, the town of Goodrich from $11,423.79 to $12,445.39, the town of Grover from $10,259.07 to $11,070.33, the town of Hammel from $23,380.20 to $24,269.65, the town of Medford from $55,821.84 to $58,489.54, the town of Molitor from $11,661.90 to $13,037.71, and the city of Medford from $85,333.87 to $86,791.42.
