Greenwood Council Meeting Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2025, at 6 p.m. 201 S. Main St., — Council Chambers The meeting was called to order by Mayor Hansen. Roll call: Nelson, Behrens, Hinker, and Ashbeck, all present. Also present were: clerk/treasurer Kayla Schar, public works director Eddie Herrick, Police Chief Andrew Kohnert, utility director Trent Johnson, and attorney Bonnie Wachsmuth. Public comment: 1. No citizens present. New business: 1. Ashbeck motioned to approve operator’s licenses for Linda Schmitt, Lani Wetzel, and Austin Wisniewski. Hinker seconded the motion. All ayes. Motion carried. 2. Nelson motioned to approve to replace the roof at the ballpark for $3,816.53, with supplies purchased from Builders First Source. Behrens seconded the motion. All ayes. Motion carried. 3. Behrens motioned to approve amending ordinance 10-4-5 CONDITIONS OF OPERATION creating Section 10-4-5 B.4.d to read as follows: d. Any person who is under a current driver's license suspension, revocation, or cancellation for any reason, or who is required to have by court order an ignition interlocking device on motorized vehicles, may not operate an all-terrain vehicle or a utility terrain vehicle upon a public street, alley, or public way in the City of Greenwood. Any youth who is too young to have been issued a valid driver's license yet, but is statutorily eligible to operate an all-terrain vehicle or utility terrain vehicle, may do so. Ashbeck seconded the motion. All ayes. Motion carried. 4. Hinker motioned to approve the replacement of Hach LDO probes for the sewer department from Energenecs for $18,013.44. Nelson seconded the motion. All ayes, motion carried. 5. Hinker motioned to approve a website refresh with Town Web Design and a 3-year contract at $1,220 per year. Behrens seconded the motion. All ayes. Motion carried. 6. Nelson motioned to approve the bills and vouchers as presented. Hinker seconded the motion. Roll call vote, all ayes. Motion carried. 7.
