Loyal’s Little Learners Program ❤ Classroom Aide Position The School District of Loyal is expanding and searching for one part-time classroom aide to assist in the Loyal’s Little Learners program, beginning with the 2025-2026 school year. The program will include Lil’ Dawgs — a before and after school program, as well as Lil’ Pups — a newly created 3K program. This position will be approximately 29 hours per week or less. Qualifications for Classroom Aide: • Completion of a childcare course (preferred). • Experience in an early childhood center, elementary school, or daycare center. • Experience creating and following lesson plans with play-based curriculum. • First aid and CPR certified (or become certified prior to beginning in role). • Ability to pass state-required background check. • The ability to visually supervise children. • The ability to get up and down from the floor and small chairs often throughout the day. • The ability to bend, reach, and lift up to 40 pounds to support the indoor and outdoor activity of children. • Candidates should be able to remain calm and focused, demonstrate maturity and flexibility in adjusting to the changing needs of the classroom, and possess a comfort level in working with very young children. • The candidate should also have a willingness to learn about growth and development of young children. Responsibilities for Classroom Aide: • Adhere to Wisconsin’s Minimum Standards for Day Care Centers. • Responsible for maintaining needed continuing education in accordance to Wisconsin’s guidelines. • Participate in workshops and in-service staff meetings as needed. • Ensuring proper opening or closing of the center each day, based on scheduled shift. • Assist with creating and implementing weekly lesson plans. • Adhere to the program’s handbook. • Assist the director in preparing classroom and activities for students.
