Amber was surrendered to CCHS when her family had an unexpected litter of puppies and couldn't find homes for them. Amber is a black and tan short-haired coonhound with very long and soft ears and warm mellow brown eyes. She is 4 months old now and weighs 25 pounds. Amber is a friendly, happy girl, with a pleasant outlook on life and does not let things bother her. She'll do some more growing yet as she does have some pretty good-sized paws – that will just mean more of her to love!
