ford native, graduating from high school in 2018. He is earning a Bachelor of Science degree from UW-Stout, and is set to graduate in December 2022, majoring in Technology Education. He has an Associates degree in Welding and Robotic Fabrication from Northcentral Technical College. He previously was a substitute teacher for the Medford School District.

He enjoys being outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping, backpacking, loves playing hockey and pond hockey with his friends. He is also the newest firefighter with the Medford Fire Department.

Deml will be the Middle School Social Worker as well as being the Taylor County Drug Opposition Partners Assistant. She is a Hixton native. She earned a Bachelor of Family and Consumer Sciences degree form UW-Stout in 2012. She is earning her masters in Social work from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota and is expecting to graduate next year. Previously she taught at Thorp, Holy Rosary, and Prentice. She enjoys reading and sewing.

Sova will be teaching 6th and 8th grade English Language Arts at Medford Area Middle School. She is a Medford native and earned a Bachelor of Elementary Education from Western Governors University in 2020. She earned a Bachelor’s in Business Administration form UW-Eau Claire in 2018. She is currently working on getting her masters in Secondary Biology from Western Governors University and is planning on graduating this September. She previously taught for two years at Owen-Withee Elementary. She enjoys playing softball and volleyball. She also likes to hunt, fish, and be outdoors.

Peterson is the new Registered Nurse for the Medford Area Middle School and is a Registered Nurse for the Taylor County Drug Opposition Partners. She is a Medford native and earned an Associates degree in Nursing in 2010 from Northcentral Technical College. She was a Registered Nurse at Aspirus Medford Hospital from 2010-2021. She enjoys reading, watching sports and enjoys being outside for all the seasons except winter.

Avery will be teaching high school and middle school Art. She is from Janesville and Gordon. She earned a Bachelor of Studio Art with emphasis in Printmaking, from UW-Superior in 2014, while majoring in Studio Art and minoring in women and gender studies. She enjoys being creative and spending time with her family. She just moved to Gilman with her boyfriend and is enjoying lake life. She spends a lot of time with her nieces and nephews. She also has a dog named Copper.

Carlsen will be teaching 6th grade Special Education. She is a Medford native and earned a Bachelors in Psychology from UW-Lakeland. She is working on her Masters dual licensing program K-8 in general education and K-12 in Special Education from Grand Canyon University online. She has two years past experience as a paraeducator and 3 years past experience working with trauma informed care for children and families. She enjoys music and getting involved in local events when she has free time. She recently got engaged and they have 2 dogs who enjoy walks in the park.

Gleichauf will be teaching second grade at Medford Area Elementary School. She is a Medford native and earned a Bachelor of Science degree from UW-Stout in 1994 and majored in Early Childhood Education. She previously taught for 6 years at Owen-Withee Public Schools and 10 years in Kentucky.

Gleichauf is married to her husband Jim and they have four children, Crystal, Kyle, Brock and Lillie, and a daughterin- law, Kari and 3 grandchildren, Hunter Grayson and Blair. She and her husband recently bought a house in Medford.

In her spare time she enjoys camping, riding in the UTV and spending time with family.

Butkus will be teaching 3rd grade at Stetsonville Elementary school. She is a Medford native and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Unified Early Childhood in 2021 from UW-Eau Claire. Previously she was a long-term kindergarten substitute for Medford Elementary School.

She plans on getting married in January, she and her fiancé have a dog named Molly. She enjoys traveling, hiking and exploring the outdoors. She loves to drink coffee and sit down with a good book. Quality time with her friends and family is important to her.

Tara Weber

Weber will be teaching Family and Consumer Sciences at Medford Area Middle School along with being the FCCLA advisor. She is a Medford native and earned a Bachelor of Science degree from UWStout, majoring in Family and Consumer Sciences Education and minoring in Human Development and Family Studies in 2022. This is her first year teaching.

She enjoys spending time with her family especially her niece and nephews. She also enjoys reading, crafting, cooking and baking and also likes attending community events like car shows and tractor shows. She tries to enter her pink tractor into shows.

Makayla Hartl

Hartl will be teaching Family and Consumer Sciences at Medford Area Senior High School as well as being FCCLA Advisor. She is a Medford native and she earned a bachelor of Science from UWStout in 2022, majoring in Family and Consumer Sciences. This is her first year of teaching.

She enjoys spending time with her family, baking, camping, motorcycle rides, and interior design.

Markki Farmer

Farmer will be teaching Physical Education at Medford Area Middle School as well as being an assistant swim coach. She is a Medford native and earned a Bachelor of Science degree from UW-Stevens Point in 2021, majoring in Physical Education, minoring in health education/adapted physical education. She has worked with the district since January 2022.

Her hobbies include coaching her girls on the swim team and also cheering on her boyfriend Adam Peterson during the busy winter snow cross racing schedule.

Rib Lake Schools Erin Probst

Probst will be a Math Interventionist. She is a native of Rib Lake and graduated May 2022 from University of Green Bay. This is her first year teaching but she student taught in Luxemburg-Casco with 5th and 6th grade.

When she is not teaching, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends as well as being outdoors kayaking, hunting, and playing with her dogs.

Deb Noennig

Noennig will teach 6-8 grade Physical Education and Health Teacher (shared position with her husband with Tom). She is a Manitowoc native. She attended UW-LaCrosse and has taught at Hartford Union High School, Mayville Middle School, and Mayville High School.

She and her husband Tom, have two children, Tommy and Samantha, and enjoy spending time with family, spending time at the lake, hiking, fishing and training their new puppy.

Tom Noennig

Noennig is the new Athletic Director and will also teach part-time Physical Education at the Middle school with his wife Deb. He is a Menomonee Falls native and attended UW-Whitewater. He taught social studies for 30 years at Hartford Union High School and Mayville High School.

He and his wife, Deb, have two children, Tommy and Samantha and enjoy hiking, fishing and anything outdoors.

Gilman Schools Brad Kozaczuk

Kozaczuk will teach 6-12 Social Studies. He is a Manitowoc native, attended Ripon College, and has spent 23 years in the educational field. In his spare time he enjoys cooking, camping, hunting, and wood carving.

Lisa Leasum

Leasum will be teaching high school Special Education. She is a New York native and has spent over 9 years in the educational field. She is a graduate of UW-Oshkosh and has a Masters degree from UWMilwaukee. When she is not working, her husband Vince and three children, Jacob, 23, Joshua, 21, and Joseph, 19, like to spend time together. She also enjoys gardening and sewing.

JamieLee Trawicki

Trawicki will teach 4 year old Kindergarten. She is a Gilman native and has a Bachelor of Science degree from UW-Superior and graduated in the spring 2022. In the past she has worked four years for Head Start and worked two years as a paraprofessional at Flambeau and Ladysmith.

When not teaching she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, watching her kids Jaylen, 15, Kylee, 13, Kenton, 11, Kenny, 9, and Lila, 6, play sports and going to the movies.

Kaylee Rudnick

Rudnick will teach middle school special education. She grew up in Thorp and Cadott. She graduated from UW-Eau Claire in 2022. While in college, she worked in childcare for three years and was an early intervention autism technician for two years. She has a one year old cat named Jupiter.

When she is not teaching, she enjoys painting, drawing, playing music, singing dancing and expressing herself.

Nathan McIntyre

McIntyre will be teaching band and general music. He is a Delavan native and graduated from UW-Eau Claire in 2022. This is his first teaching job but he student taught at Owen-Withee high school and Halmstad Elementary School.

When not teaching he enjoys gaming, watching movies and TV shows, and spending time with family and friends.
