Wisconsin resident and successful author Victoria Hudson visited the Westboro Public Library on June 30 to promote her new book and tell of her journey of finding her place in the writer’s world.

Hudson attended Bennington College in Vermont and found a love for the arts.

After many attempts to try to write several genres of books, she finally discovered that she was able to write her best stories based on information that was familiar to her. Growing up, she was familiar with wildlife and various outdoor activities like fishing and hunting.

All of Hudson’s novels are set in north central Wisconsin on a place called Loon Lake. Her stories are murder mysteries and are each set on Loon Lake.

Each of her stories are titled with the the word “Dead” followed by a name of a different kind of fishing lure.

She has written 19 books from her Dead Series and is starting another series with one story already completed entitled Wolf Hollow. Her newest book Hidden in the Pines will be released next year.

Every book from her Dead series is available at the Westboro Public Library. The library is located at 2nd St. Westboro, WI 54490.

Published books by Hudson include: “Dead Angler,” “Dead Creek,” “Dead Water,” “Dead Frenzy,” “Dead Hot Mama,” “Dead Jitterbug,” “Dead Boogie,” “Dead Madonna,” “Dead Hot Shot,” “Dead Renegade,” “Dead Deceiver,” “Dead Tease,” “Dead Insider,” “Dead Lil’ Hustler,” “Dead Rapunzel,” “Dead Loudmouth,” “Dead Spider,” “Dead Firefly,” “Dead Big Dawg,” “Wolf Hollow,” and “Hidden in the Pines”.
