Mary Williams and Bob Larson endorse Mike Bub for 87th Assembly district seat

Michael Bub candidate for the 87th Assembly District announced that past State of Wisconsin Assembly Representatives Mary Williams and Robert (Bob) Larson have endorsed Mike Bub for the Republican nomination for the 87th Assembly seat. The primary will be held on Tuesday, August 9.

Bob Larson served in the Wisconsin Assembly from 1985 to 1991. Mary Williams served from 2002 to 2014. Rep. Larson stated he has been impressed with Mike’s community involvement. Bob, believes the leadership Mike has shown in Medford and Taylor County will be an asset to the State of Wisconsin Assembly.

Mary Williams along with Mike helped restart the Taylor County Republican Party. Mike is the current chairman while Mary is the Vice-Chairman. Mary commented that having worked with Mike in Taylor County she is confident he will work hard and be a strong representative for the 87th District. Mike currently serves on the Taylor County Board of supervisors, and the Medford City Council. As part of his 23 years of local government experience, Mike also served at the Medford School Board and was president for 8 years.

Mike is currently the Chairman of the Taylor County Broadband committee which is building a Broadband network for the entire County. The Broadband project has been 3 years in development. The new network should provide access to high-speed internet for all of Taylor County by the end of 2024.

Mike is both honored and humbled by the support Bob and Mary have shown in him to be the next Assembly Representative for the 87th District.
