The menu for the month of June has been announced for the Senior Dining Centers of the Taylor County Commission on Aging. Persons 60 years and older and spouse, regardless of age, are welcome to participate in the noon meals.

In Jump River, meals are served at noon on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Jump River Community Center. In Medford, meals are served at noon on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays at the Medford Senior Dining Center. Meals are served in Goodrich at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesdays at Royal Gaits Arena & Stables. In Stetsonville, meals are served at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday and Thursday at the Centennial Community Center. Meals are served in Rib Lake at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday at the Rib Lake Senior Center. In Westboro, meals are served at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday and Thursday at the VFW Hall. Reservations must be made one day in advance by 2 p.m. Any questions, please call Commission on Aging at 715-748-1491.

Week of June 1— Thursday, Chicken breast, mushroom and bacon sauce, wild rice blend, cold pickled beets, biscuit, and banana; Friday, Cabbage roll with tomato sauce, country trio veggie blend, rye bread, cinnamon applesauce, spice cake.

Week of June 6— Monday, Chicken vegetable casserole, carrots, oat bran bread, mixed fruit, carrot cake; Tuesday, Boneless BBQ pork rib, whole wheat hoagie, au gratin potatoes, whole kernel corn, mini muffin, grapes; Wednesday, Chef salad with romaine lettuce, tomatoes, turkey, egg, cheese, dressing packet, fresh roll, split pea soup, cookie; Thursday, Paprika chicken, baby red potatoes, cauliflower, raisin bread, vanilla yogurt & berries; Friday, Salisbury steak, gravy, mashed potatoes, Brussels sprouts, whole wheat bread, honey bee ambrosia.

Week of June 13— Monday, Broccoli, potato and cheddar soup, naked chicken breast strips, crackers, mandarin oranges, apple slices; Tuesday, Sloppy Joe on a bun, roasted potatoes, baked beans, grape salad; Wednesday, Ham & scalloped potato casserole, pacific blend veggies, whole wheat roll, banana; Thursday, Seasoned baked chicken, twice baked mashed potatoes, cold pickled beets, whole wheat bread, apple cake; Friday, stuffed green pepper casserole, dill carrots, raisin bread, peaches and vanilla pudding.

Week of June 20— Monday, baked tuna noodle casserole with peas, coleslaw, rye bread, and berries; Tuesday, Chicken salad on a croissant, romaine leaf and tomato, veggie chicken noodle soup, sliced peaches, cookie; Wednesday, Meat lasagna, wax beans, romaine & spinach salad, dressing, garlic breadstick, jell-o with fruit; Thursday, Swedish meatballs, mashed potatoes, broccoli & cauliflower, whole wheat bread, apple sauce; Friday, Garlic lime chicken, diced seasoned potatoes, three bean salad, multi-grain bread, pineapple cake.

Week of June 27— Monday, Swiss steak, parsley buttered potatoes; carrots, whole wheat bread, pineapple; Tuesday, Shepherd’s Pie, mashed potatoes, squash, rye bread, chocolate cake; Wednesday, Brat on a bun, steamed onions, baked beans, potato salad, patriotic cake with berries; Thursday, Lemon pepper fish, baked potato, sour cream, peas, rye bread, creamy fruit salad.

Week of June 6— Monday, Egg salad sandwich on wheat bread, 3 bean salad, fruit cocktail, cookie; Tuesday, beef stew with veggies, mashed potatoes, peaches, jell-o poke cake; Wednesday, meat balls with white sauce, green beans, mashed potatoes, pears, white cake; Thursday, ground hamburger and Spanish rice, tomato slice, pineapple, chocolate pudding.

Week of June 13— Monday, Lasagna with meat sauce, green beans, garlic bread, pineapple, cake; Tuesday, Tuna noodle casserole with peas, coleslaw, white dinner roll, mandarin oranges, fruit dessert bar; Wednesday, Sloppy Joes on a bun, cheese slice, pasta salad, grapes, butterscotch pudding; Thursday, turkey wrap club, with veggie fixings, chips, bananas, rice krispie bars.

Week of June 20— Monday, Kielbasa and sauerkraut, parsley buttered potatoes, applesauce, chocolate pudding; Tuesday, Ham, corn, white dinner roll, mandarin oranges, fruit dessert bar; Wednesday, pizza casserole, mixed veggies, wheat dinner roll, grapes, butterscotch pudding; Thursday, pulled pork on a bun, sweet potato fries, pickles, fresh fruit, blueberry coffee cake.

Week of June 27— Monday, Cheeseburger on a bun, baked beans, French fries, fruit cocktail, cookie; Tuesday, Tater tot hot dish, green beans, apple sauce, white cake; Wednesday, Chicken breast, diced carrots, scalloped potato, pineapple, brownie; Thursday, Grilled ham and cheese; tomato soup, cheese slice, apricots, chocolate cake.
