Holy Rosary scholarships awarded Holy Rosary scholarships awarded

Holy Rosary Scholarships were presented during Celebration for Education. Each year, Holy Rosary Home & School committee offers two $350 Scholarships. 2021 recipients are Ellee Grunewald and Samuel Liske.

Requirements to be considered for the scholarships are: graduate from Holy Rosary School with a minimum of two years of attendance, confirmed Catholic, enrolled in an accredited post secondary program, and provide an essay explaining how the experience at Holy Rosary Catholic School helped to create a faith foundation and how to continue to develop it in the future.

Ellee Grunwald included in her essay: “By attending Holy Rosary Catholic School, I have learned many impactful lessons which have helped me build strong faith-based relationships with my family, friends, and myself. The teachers at Holy Rosary have not only guided me through schooling but they have emphasized the values of respect, kindness, and how faith can better one’s life. They have also taught me how important it is to serve and be involved in the church and community.”

Ellee will be attending St. Norbert College in the Fall.

Samuel Liske included in his essay: “Experiences that I had, helped me to be better prepared for my future and I am now more ready to face whatever challenges are ahead. Going to a Catholic school has helped me to build my faith to what it is today, and I plan on bringing all the values that I have learned in this school and carry it with me into the world. I want to be able to bring God further into my life and develop my faith so that I can better help people who are in need, and just be a better person in general.” Samuel will be attending UW-Stevens Point in the Fall.
