Cadott declaws Tigers to remain undefeated

In their first Lakeland Conference game of the year, the Cadott football program was on the road, Sept. 5, to face off with Webster. With two wins under their belts, the Hornets came ready to play and took the win over Webster, 46-12.

Junior Owen Fasbender led on rushing, with 8 rushes, 134 yards and 2 touchdowns, while senior Aiden Rykal had 8 rushes, 101 yards and 2 touchdowns. Sophomore Kellen Blanchette also had 8 rushes, with 53 yards and a touchdown.

Sophomore Jakes Weeks was 3 for 7 in passing, with 82 yards and a touchdown. He also gave up 2 interceptions. Junior Brenton Faber came up with 3 receptions on receiving, for 82 yards and a touchdown.

Defensively, Faber had 6 tackles, while sophomore Drew Rykal came up with 8 tackles and junior Brock Webster had 6 tackles, with a fumble recovery for the Hornets. Fasbender notched 6 tackles on the night, while A. Rykal ended with 5.

Juniors Issac Wellner and Riley Winchell each caught an interception.
