Accomplishments are still coming the way of Knights

The weather hasn’t exactly been the friend of the Cornell-Lake Holcombe golf program, but despite that, the team has overcome it all.
May 19 Birchwood Match
First up in the week’s challenge, was a match at Birchwood, where the Knights came home with a score of 196. Individually, junior Logan Jaedike had the low score of the day, with 44, followed by sophomore Bryce DeJongh, with 49. Junior Alex Dixon came next, with 51, while senior Torren Parker was right behind, with 52.
May 20 Cumberland Conference Match
The next day, the Knights were at Cumberland, for the Lakeland Conference match, where they took second place in the league for the year, with a team score of 214.
“It was a rainy and cold day for the match, and we are happy to have the regular season wrapped up,” said coach Megan Bitney.
Jaedike again had the lowest score, with 49, while Parker scored 52, Dixon carded a 54 and DeJongh had a score of 59.
The Knights now look ahead to Regionals, May 27, at Cadott, in hopes to see some or all of the team advance in the playoffs.
“The accomplishments this team has achieved this year, are beyond anything we’ve done in the past 10 years, and we are extremely proud of them all,” said Bitney.
