Home match goes way of the Hornets

Things are really starting to come together for the Cadott golf program, as the team had two matches over the week.
April 23 Colfax Match
First up for the Hornets, was on the road at Colfax, going up against 18 other teams, where Cadott placed eighth.
“Our goal as a team was to finish with four scores in the 80’s and we finished with three,” said coach Scott Christenson.
Individually, senior Parker Davis and junior Collin Kowalczyk carded the lowest score, with a 41 each, while sophomore Brady Goettl was right behind, with 42. Junior Gavin Roscoe followed that with a score of 43 and sophomore Max Demulling carded 50.
April 24 Home Match
The next day, Cadott was home, hosting four other schools and claiming first place as a team.
Roscoe came up with the lowest score for the Hornets, with an 81, while Goettl had an 87 and Davis scored an 88. Demulling followed that up by carding 91 and Kowalcyzk had 103.
“I was happy with our performance on Thursday,” said Christenson. “It was the first time we beat Bloomer as a team.”
