Hornets take one from Ramblers on the road

In their lone game of the week, the Cadott softball program was in action, facing off with Regis, April 15, on the road. Cadott struck first, getting three runs on the board in the first inning, which Regis answered, adding three runs of their own in the second inning.

“It was a tough battle for us,” said coach Lexie Rothbauer.

Despite a back-and-forth game, including seven fielding errors for the Hornets, Cadott came out on top over the Ramblers, with a 9-4 win.

“We were able to rally enough hits to pull off the win…” said Rothbauer.

Junior Lexi Bremness made her pitching debut, while senior Rilei Weeks had an inside-the-park homerun, a triple and a single.
