Chieftains shutout by a tough Trojans program

Heading on the road to New Auburn, Aug. 30, the Lake Holcombe football squad knew it wouldn’t be an easy battle. The non-conference bout featured two teams that are well-known to each other, which could either work for or against.

In the Chieftains’ case, it seemed to work against them, as they were held scoreless throughout the match. New Auburn put up 80 points on the board, to claim the shutout home win.
