Hornets finish just shy of the title in Cloverbelt play

Skyline Golf Course in Black River Falls, was the site of the Cloverbelt Conference meet May 14, which saw Cadott outmatch most of the competition to end the regular season. By the end, the Hornets shot a 376 and took second place behind Bloomer.

Junior Parker Davis carded the lowest score for Cadott, with an 86, followed by sophomore Collin Kowalczyk, with a score of 95. Sophomore Gavin Roscoe was right behind, with 97, while freshman Brady Goettl scored 98 and senior Jordan Peters finished the regular season with 101.

“It was a great season for the Hornets,” said coach Scott Christenson.

The Hornets will compete at Regionals, May 21, at Turtleback Golf Course in Rice Lake.
