Hornets struck by Thunder

It was off to Osseo-Fairchild, Jan. 11, for the Cadott boys basketball squad, as they took on the Thunder in a West Cloverbelt Conference bout.
The Hornets couldn’t get their offense going, down by 14 at the break. Coming out of halftime, Cadott faced the same woes, offensively, while unable to withhold the Thunders’ scoring and the game went to the home team, 81-42.
Leading for the Hornets, was junior Braden Schneider, with 16 points, followed by junior Nolan Freed, who ended with 8. Junior Parker Davis followed that with 4 points, while senior Brodee Burish and junior Cameron Allard were right behind, each scoring 3 points.
Senior Nolan Blum, juniors Jackson Barone and Riley Sopiarz, and sophomore Asher Sikora, all chipped in with 2 points.
Cadott now sits at 5-9 overall and remains winless in the league, at 0-6.
