Chiefs drop away match

The Cornell girls headed to Independence-Gilmanton, for a match out of the conference Dec. 27. The Chiefs struggled somewhat with offense, as they only put up 12 points on the board in the first half, with the second half of the game almost mirroring the previous half.

Cornell couldn’t even the score and Independence took the victory, 64-28.

Junior Bralee Schroeder led for the Chiefs, with 11 points and 4 rebounds, while junior Lauren Samardzich came up with 8 points, 4 rebounds and 5 blocks. Freshman Haylee Ellis ended the night with 6 points and 5 rounds, with junior Alyssa Bowe added 3 points and 5 rebounds.
