Duellman comes home with first place win

In their first outing of the year, the Cornell-Lake Holcombe-Gilman Wolfpack Wrestlers made the trek to Barron, Dec. 9, for an invitational.
Coming up with a first place win for the Wolfpack, was senior Troy Duellman (157 pounds), by a 3:08 fall over Jerome LaBarge, Lakeland-Mercer, after winning over Somerset’s Ethan Fischer and Barron’s Carter Roth.
Freshman Taydyn Angell (215) also made podium, taking fifth place over Cameron’s Derek Ewald, in a 1:16 fall. Junior Preston Fredrickson (144) placed ninth, win a win over Sawyer Kucaba, of Phillips, by fall, in 1:07, while freshman Kadyn Jones (138) came in 10th, after dropping his final match to Unity’s Tanner Freer, with a 4:52 fall.
