By Ginna Young

They’d already secured a share of the East Lakeland Conference title, but with a win over Flambeau Oct. 10, the road game would give Cornell’s volleyball the crown outright.

Going into the match determined to snag the title, the Chiefs brought their A-game and took the game in three sets, 25-10, 25-19 and 25-13.

Senior Brooke Sime ended the night with 11 kills and 13 digs, while senior Brooke Anderson had 8 kills, and senior Marcella Boehm added 6 kills and 3 blocks.

Freshman Kylee Hetherington came up with 5 aces and 10 digs on the night, and junior Bralee Schroeder notched 25 assists.
