Cadott takes out Loyal before the post-season

To finish out the regular season, Cadott’s volleyball program hosted Loyal in a non-conference match Oct. 10. The first set went to Loyal, 25-23, but the Hornets came back to take the second set, 25-17.

Cadott claimed the third set, 25-15, and while the fourth set was extremely close, the Hornets pulled it out, 27-25, to take the 3-1 victory.

Leading for the Hornets, was senior Emma Kowalczyk, with 13 kills, 23 digs and 2 blocks, while junior Kasey Moldrem ended with 11 kills and 4 blocks. Senior Bradee Burish notched 11 kills on the night, and senior Makenna Harel came away with 37 digs, 2 aces and 5 kills.

The Hornets will now face Augusta, in the first round of the WIAA playoffs, in a home match-up.
