Lake Holcombe makes strides each time out

Although they were without their lone varsity girl runner Sept. 28, the Lake Holcombe cross country squad headed to Ladysmith, where the varsity boys ended the day with good times.

Sophomore Alex Dixon was at the top for the Chieftains, with a finish of 31st, for a time of 20:30.09, and sophomore Logan Jaedike was 41st (21:17.28).

Traveling to Lousiville, Ky., the Cadott archery program shot at National competition May 9-11, bringing home a ninth place finish for the high school team out of 252 schools, with a score of 3,407, and 87th out of 267 teams in the middle school division, scoring 3,176....
