Lake Holcombe’s runners holding steady on courses

Without a full team, Lake Holcombe cross country runners are faring well, as the season goes on, putting up individual times on each course.

Sept. 19 Cadott Meet

First up on the week, was the always challenging and taxing Cadott course, against multiple strong running schools.

Sophomore Alex Dixon placed fastest for the Chieftains, with 62nd place, in a time of 21:34.84, followed by sophomore Logan Jaedike, for 93rd (23:27.31).

As the lone girl, sophomore Emma Wright finished in 69th (26:19.7).

Sept. 21 Unity Meet

It was a much smaller field of athletes at Unity, giving Lake Holcombe a chance to show their abilities.

Dixon again led, ending in eighth place (21:13.68), while Jaedike was 19th (24:49.5) and Wright notched a 12th place finish (26:30.05).
