Chieftains raided by Bruce

The Lake Holcombe football program packed up and headed to Bruce, for a conference showdown Sept. 22, but struggled with offense throughout the game.

Meanwhile, the Raiders put up 32 points on the board in just the first quarter, along with 24 in the second. Lake Holcombe’s defense kept the Raiders scoreless in the third quarter after the break and only allowed six points in the final quarter.

Without mustering any offense, the Chieftains watched Bruce walk away with a 62-0 win, keeping Lake Holcombe winless, at 0-5 overall and 0-2 in the league.
