In a meet at Chetek-Weyerhaeuser, Sept. 14, the Lake Holcombe cross country runners continue to get better and stronger each time they compete. As far as coach Greg “Cookie” Anderson is concerned, the three varsity athletes all had their best races of the year.

Sophomore Alex Dixon captured the best time for the team on the boys’ side, with a 31st place finish, in a time of 22:44.2, while sophomore Logan Jaedike came in 50th (24:27.8).

On the girls’ side of things, sophomore Emma Wright finished in 34th (26:40.8).

“They ran good,” said Anderson.
