Lake Holcombe sends lone runner to Bruce

In their first meet of the year, the Lake Holcombe cross country program headed to what’s always a difficult course at Bruce, going up against multiple schools Aug. 29. The Chieftains were also short-handed, as only one of their three runners was present for the hilly course.

Despite competing alone for his team, sophomore Alex Dixon placed well, finishing 68th out of 115 boys, with a time of 23:57.61.
