Knights get in a match

After waiting for weeks to hit the links, the Cornell-Lake Holcombe golf athletes finally got in some action May 1, playing at Tee-Away Golf Course in Ladysmith.

Senior Elliott Peterson had the low score of the day, with a 72, followed by sophomore Torren Parker, who carded a 77.

“It was a blustery day on the course, but everyone was glad to get the first match under their belts to finally kick off the season,” said coach Megan Bitney.
