Duellman wrestles way to Regional title for Wolfpack

“It was a bag of mixed emotions on Saturday,” said coach Greg Sonnentag of his teams efforts Feb. 11. The Cornell-Gilman Wolfpack was in action at Edgar, for Regional action against some of the best around.

“We had some great success and we had some moments where we let ourselves down in matches we were winning,” said Sonnentag.

One success, was the first place finish of junior Troy Duellman (145 pounds), who won over Paul Kurschner of Boyceville, in the quarterfinals, then Auburndale’s Wyatt Malsin in the semis, before facing Stratford’s Ryan Becker, where he took a 3-1 decision.
