Chiefs fall prey to Bears

In their only game of the week, the Cornell girls basketball program played host to Clayton Jan. 27, for an East Lakeland Conference match-up.

Although the Chiefs won their previous three games, Clayton is a tough team and even home court advantage couldn’t see Cornell through. The victory went to the Bears, 54-44.

The Chiefs now sit at 7-11 overall and are 4-6 in the league.
