Hornets wings clipped by Crickets and Blackhawks

Facing off with two tough conference opponents, Cadott’s boys basketball program is right in the heart of the season.

Jan. 17 vs. Fall Creek conference (L 72-50)

Hosting Fall Creek, the Hornets kept the match evenly scored in the first half, with the visitors leading by just two points at halftime. By the second half, Cadott’s offense had lagged and the Crickets outscored the home team by 20 points.

Time wasn’t on Cadott’s side and Fall Creek took the win, 72-50.

Hot from three-point land, was sophomore Warren Bowe who knocked down six of the shots, ending with 24 points to lead the Hornets. Junior Bradee Burish came next, with 7 points, followed by junior Jordan Peters, with 5, and sophomore Nolan Freed, with 4.
