Cadott comes up with a win over Buffaloes

Thanks to some unforseen weather, Cadott’s girls program only played one game this week, heading to Mondovi, for a non-conference match Jan. 23.

“We jumped out to a good lead right away, but they are a good team and went on a run that made the game close going into halftime,” said coach Dave Hazuga.

The Hornets took a five-point lead into the break, then held on the rest of the way, to bring home a 66-53 victory.

“I thought we reconnected our defense better in the second half,” said Hazuga.
