Hornets struck by Thunder

In their only game of the week, Cadott played host to conference opponent Osseo-Fairchild, for a boys basketball match-up Jan. 12.
Cadott kept pace with the Thunder throughout the first half, only trailing by five at the break. Coming out of haltime, the Hornets continued to fall just short of catching up to Osseo and with time not on their side, the game went to the Thunder, 75-63.
Sophomore Warren Bowe had a good game, knocking down five shots from beyond the arc and finishing with 22 points, with senior Tegan Ritter right behind, ending with 20 points, six of those from three-pointers.
Junior Jordan Peters also had a good night from three-point land, acing nine of his 12 points from long range. Junior Nolan Blum got in on the scoring act, adding 6 points, while junior Bradee Burish chipped in with 2 and sophomore Nolan Freed shot a free throw.
The loss drops Cadott to 4-9 on the season and keeps them winless in the West Cloverbelt Conference, at 0-6.
