Weir finishes in Top 30 to end running career

Making his second trip to the State cross country meet, senior Peter Weir represented Cadott Oct. 29, in the event held at The Ridges Golf Course in Wisconsin Rapids.

In a field of more than 100 runners, in the boys competition, Weir placed 27th, with a time of 17:22.6. The placing was shy of the podium, but still impressive, putting an end to Weir’s high school running career.

“Peter was satisfied with his effort,” said coach Tom Weiss. “The goal was to do better than last year, which he did.”
