Cadott’s post-season run comes to a close

Cadott’s football program was all abuzz Oct. 28, as they hit the road to take on Stratford, for the second round of WIAA playoff action. The Hornets were seeded third in the bracket, while Stratford came in as No. 2.

Playing the game in Marshfield, Stratford got on the board with a touchdown in the first quarter and never looked back. Over the game, Stratford scored five times more, while holding the Hornets scoreless.

In the end, the game went to Stratford, 42-0, ending a stellar season for Cadott.

Leading for the Hornets, was senior Tristan Drier, with 19 yards rushing and 4 yards passing, while seniors Tegan Ritter and Nick Fasbender each had 15 yards rushing. Junior Connor Roth came up with 10 yards on rushing and 3 yards receiving. Rounding out the scorebook, junior Easton Goodman recorded 1 yard in receiving.
