Spirits were high for a home game Sept. 16, as the Cadott football program hosted Elmwood-Plum City, in a conference bout. The Hornets quickly got on the board, with a touchdown run in the first quarter by senior Tristan Drier, with the extra point kick good by senior Peter Weir.
The Wolves struck back with a touchdown of their own, with the two-point conversion good to take a slim one-point lead. However, that would be it for the visiting team.
Neither team scored in the second quarter, but Cadott notched another touchdown in the third, from Drier. The two-point conversion failed, but the Hornets were up, 13-8. Cadott scored once more in the fourth quarter, with yet another touchdown from Drier, who also came up with the two-point conversion.
