Even though they were without the senior leadership of Peter Weir, on account of illness, the Cadott cross country team saw several runners set personal best records Sept. 13, at Neillsville.

Finishing in second place for the Hornets, was the girls team, while the boys were eighth.

Individually, junior Jaycee Stephens placed in the top 20 for the girls, ending in 16th, with a time of 24:05.4, while freshman Josie Roth was 19th (24:24.9) and sophomore Lyla Weggen was a few steps behind in 20th place (24:58.9).
