Young Knights make strides on tough courses

The Cornell-Lake Holcombe cross country team continues to make strides in their progress, as the season took them to a tough course, then to one with shady woods, but vicious mosquitos.

Webster is always a challenging course, something coach Greg “Cookie” Anderson will attest to.

“That hill toward the end...” said Anderson, leaving the thought to finish itself.

The runners had to make two loops twice up the hill and coupled with a warm day, it was a difficult course to navigate. Despite that, both varsity freshman runners finished strong.
