Lakers sneak by Hornets

Heading off to Turtle Lake for a conference match-up Sept. 9, the Cadott football program went into the game with a 3-0 record.

The game with the Lakers started out in favor of Cadott, with a touchdown in the first quarter by junior Easton Goodman and the extra point good by senior Peter Weir. The Hornets again got on the board with a touchdown in the second quarter from senior Nick Fasbender. The extra point was again good by Weir and Cadott was up 14-0.

Turtle Lake then added two back-to-back touchdowns of their own, before the Hornets struck again, with a touchdown pass from senior Tristan Drier to Goodman. The extra point kick from Weir was good and Cadott regained the lead, 21-14.
